Output Line Data

The data along each output line are recorded in tab-separated ASCII .txt files. Data from each output line are stored in a unique directory. The name of each directory is linked to the dynamic name of the output line. Within each output line directory, sampling line output files are generated at each Statistics Output Write Interval. The individual file names are linked to the simulation output time. Within this structure, the directories organize the data by output line, while files within the directory organize the data associated with each output line by output time.

The data printed to the output line files will be the combined selections of the Probes/Planes Output Controls and the Volume Output Controls. A preview of the data printed to each output line data file is listed in the Statistics Output Data preview panel.

In addition to the ASCII files, the output line segment will be rendered as an annotation in M-Star Post.
