FFmpeg Linux Install¶
M-Star Post can leverage FFmpeg to encode output image frames into a highly compressed mp4 file using the x264 codec. M-Star does not include FFmpeg on Linux, so you need to install this software using your operating system package manager.
Redhat¶
Enable RPM Fusion repo. Install FFmpeg according to documentation.
In M-Star Post when you save an animation, select External FFMPEG/MP4.
Specify the full path to the FFmpeg installation:
/usr/bin/ffmpeg
.Select Save, in the lower left corner of the Save Animation Form, to save this setting.
Select OK to save the animation.
