Deformation¶
Introduction¶
The Deformation function is used to import deforming mesh files. This function is only used when defining a deforming moving body. See Deforming moving bodies.
Access¶
When you select Deformation on a moving body context-specific toolbar, a flyout will open to reveal the three options listed below.
Deformation Flyout¶
Three options are provided:
- Load deform meshes
Launches a file page to load in a time series of STL meshes defining the motion of the body.
- Delete deform mesh data
Deletes any previously loaded time series of data.
- Reset bounding box - All deform mesh extents
Moves over all imported STL files and resets the bounding box to expose the full extent of all possible motion.
