Overview

These are the main components of the M-Star Pre GUI interface.

  • Menu: The menu is for general interaction with the program.

  • Toolbar: In the toolbar you interact with your model, make changes, create additional components, and run the solver.

  • Context-Specific Toolbar: In the dynamic context-specific toolbar, the functions change according to your selections in the model tree.

  • Model Tree: The model tree is where you select the basic components for your model, including the three required components: simulation parameters, fluid model, and main lattice.

  • Property Grid: The property grid lists all the inputs for each component selected from the model tree.

  • Navigation Icons: With the navigation icons you can change the style and toggle annotations on and off.

  • Viewing Panel: The 3D viewing panel shows your model geometry and other defined components.

  • Log Window: The log window displays a log of what the simulation is doing, any messages to the user, and errors during model setup.

  • Program Information: The program information is displayed on the bar at the bottom of the page.
